Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (referred to as "terms") apply to all Tiger Moth and Chipmunk experience flights (referred to as "the flight") provided by Northumberland Aviation trading as Tiger Flights (referred to as "the company" or “us”) to its customers (referred to as "participants" or "you"). By booking and participating in the flight, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms.

 

1.   Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in a flight. Minors aged 14 may participate with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

There is no maximum age limitation.​

​

2.   Vouchers

Flight vouchers can be bought on the company’s website or by contacting the company directly.

​

Vouchers have a unique reference number that must be quoted when dealing with the company. Your voucher must be kept safe and taken with you on the day of your flight. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of theft, impersonation or identity fraud of your voucher.

​

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. A booking must be made within 12 months from the date of issue otherwise the voucher will be deemed to be invalid and no liability will be accepted by the company.

​

Voucher validity may be extended at the sole discretion of the company and can only be granted before the original voucher expires.

 

3.   Payment

Flights and vouchers can be paid for through the company's website or by contacting the company directly. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and fees, unless otherwise stated.

 

4.   Refunds

We offer an initial 14-day money back guarantee for unredeemed vouchers. After which vouchers are non-refundable. Vouchers are transferrable between your family and friends.

 

5.   Bookings

Bookings can be made by contacting the company directly.

You are free to book your preferred date within your voucher validity period subject to availability. To avoid disappointment we recommend that you book well in advance, ideally at least four to six weeks in advance. Once a date has been booked your voucher will be considered to have been redeemed.

​

You may request changes or amendments to your booking, subject to availability and the company’s discretion.

The company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate booking amendments but it is not guaranteed.

 

6.   Restrictions

You must be under 18 stone to participate in a flight.

​

If you are purchasing a voucher as a gift it is up to you to ensure you choose a flight appropriate to the recipient. It is up to the recipient to check restrictions are not prohibitive.

 

7.   Medical conditions

You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect your ability to participate safely in the flight.

​

We are not medically qualified to give an opinion on your medical condition or physical limitation. It is up to you to consult your own GP or medical expert to determine if you are fit to fly.

​

Passengers must be mobile enough to get in and out of the aircraft.

​

The company will do its utmost to fly passengers with reduced mobility as long as it will not compromise safety. The pilot has the final decision.

 

8.   Health and Safety

Participants must adhere to all safety instructions provided by the company and its pilots before, during, and after the flight.

​

The consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited before and during the flight.

​

Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

​

The company reserves the right to refuse participation of any individual suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or if, in the pilot's judgment, they pose a risk to themselves, the pilot, or the aircraft's safety.

 

Participants must not wear shorts or dresses. Soft soled, flat heel shoes must be worn.

 

9.   Cancellation

If your flight is cancelled by the company either before or on the day of the flight due to circumstances beyond their control (eg adverse weather conditions, mechanical failure, or any other reasons), the company will reschedule the flight at a mutually convenient time subject to availability at no additional cost.

The company cannot be held liable for any costs including (but not limited to) travel expenses or pre-booked accommodation costs incurred in the event of a cancellation.

 

10.   Cancellation by Participants

If you wish to cancel your flight booking, a cancellation fee of £25 will be charged by the company.

​

If you fail to show up for your scheduled flight without prior notice you will forfeit the fee paid and your voucher will be rendered invalid.

 

11.   Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond the control of both the company and the participants, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other force majeure events, the company may modify or waive the cancellation policy at their discretion.

 

12.   Flight Duration and Changes

The duration of the flight is approximate and may vary depending on weather conditions and air traffic restrictions.

The company reserves the right to modify the flight itinerary for safety or operational reasons.

 

13.   Liability

Participants understand that participating in a flight involves inherent risks and they do so at their own risk.

The company, its employees, pilots and affiliates shall not be liable for any damage, loss, injury or expense (whether direct or consequential) suffered as a result of participating in or related to the flight, including liabilities or claims relating to personal injury or death of any person or damage to or loss of any property arising out the flight.

Participants are advised to have their personal insurance coverage that may cover any unforeseen incidents during the flight.

 

14.   Photography and Video

The company may take photographs or record videos during the flight for promotional purposes. Participants consent to the use of such media without compensation.

​

Participants may bring personal cameras or recording devices on board, subject to pilot approval and adherence to safety guidelines. Cameras and recording devices must be attached to your person with a strap for the duration of the flight.

​

Use of personal cameras or recording equipment is at your risk.

 

15.   Personal Belongings

You must not take any loose items with you on the flight.

​

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the flight. The company is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.

 

16.   Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

By booking the flight, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the company before booking the flight.

 

The company reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions as needed, with any changes communicated to passengers in a timely manner.
